NBA phenom Dwight Howard to endorse Ed Hardy

Ed Hardy is thrilled to announce their relationship with NBA phenom Dwight Howard. "Dwight embodies the Ed Hardy brand in its entirety; he's an original, dedicated to his sport, ambitious and self confident, everything that the Ed Hardy line stands for."

Howard was drafted in 2004 and continues to play for the Orlando Magic. He is a member of the Olympic Basketball Team winning the Gold in 2008. Howard also has a strong presence off the court, where he is known for his community service.

Dwight spent a day at the corporate offices in January shooting the first of his ad campaigns, and got a chance to see the newest additions to the line. "I'm a fan of the designs, and I feel blessed to be provided this opportunity," says Dwight.

The outdoor ad campaign featuring Howard will launch during NBA All Star Weekend in Dallas and will rollout across the county in the spring.

Ed Hardy is a globally recognized fashion brand known for its cutting edge, classic American tattoo art. The art of Don Ed Hardy has struck a chord with consumers nationwide and the line has evolved into a lifestyle brand rising to exceptional popularity in record time and setting a precedent in the fashion world. As a pop culture icon, Ed Hardy continues to evolve and stay at the cutting edge of definitive tastemaker style.

Don Ed Hardy Sues Christian Audigier Over Clothing Line

The Associated Press has reported that Don Ed Hardy has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Christian Audigier over the continued use of his name and artwork to endorse a line of products when Hardy had terminated the contract between them. According to the blog on Needled.com, there's a pretty extensive list of contract violations made by Audigier, including the use of his name to endorse an endless line of unrelated products such as perfumes, water and air fresheners. Hardy also claims that Audigier has failed to share the profits as contractually agreed upon back in 2005, and even went as far as to underreport the actual earnings from the Ed Hardy line so he wouldn't have to pay full royalties.
So, if you're wearing "Ed Hardy" perfume or drinking "Ed Hardy" bottled water, thinking that you're supporting the man whose name is stamped on the over-priced item, you might actually just be perpetuating another money hungry conglomerate willing to take advantage of the "little guy" for its own selfish means. I hope Hardy gets everything he's asking for and more.

How To Spot Fake Adidas

  1. Look at the back of a pair of Adidas shoes and check for a heel tag. It is common for fake Adidas shoes to have a tiny triangular bit of material where the upper leather meets the second layer of leather on the heel of the shoe. Real Adidas shoes are perfectly constructed with great attention to detail, making it easy to spot a fake this way.
  2. Check out the packaging on the extra laces that come with a new pair of Adidas shoes. Extra laces should be rolled tightly and sealed in plastic. Knock-off Adidas shoes will have laces that are packed loosely in plastic.
  3. Look for the serial numbers. All real Adidas products have serial numbers on the tags attached to the item. Shoes will have a tag with the size and product information on the inside of the shoe, behind the tongue. Real authentic Adidas shoes will have a different serial number for the left and the right shoes. If the numbers match, the shoes are fake Adidas.
  4. Always inspect the product's stitching. Authentic Adidas items will have tight stitching that is evenly spaced. Knock-off Adidas gear may have loose stitch work or stitches sewn in an uneven pattern. Shoddy stitching makes it easy to spot fake Adidas gear.
  5. Learn how much a real Adidas item is worth. You can check the Adidas website for the prices of the current season's products as well as other Adidas items. If you come across a "great deal" online or on the street, chances are it's too good to be true. Do your research before shelling out any money to avoid getting ripped off.

How To Tell Fake Polo Ralph Lauren

  1. If the Ralph Lauren polo is priced very low, be wary. We have come across a ton of fake Ralph Lauren polos being sold online on auction sites. If the price is too good to be true, then most likely it is. If you want the real deal, you will have to pay the real price. Getting it for less may seem great, up until you actually receive your polo and realize how obviously fake it is.
  2. To be extra cautious, only buy from reputable sources. Use the company website in particular, or you can head to an actual, reputable storefront that you can walk into.
  3. Check the quality of the polo. Make sure it feels high-quality. Many fake Ralph Lauren polos are obviously fake, even to those who miss small details. The material of a fake Ralph Lauren polo will feel cheap and stiff, and colors that look faded are also a fast and easy indicator that the polo is a fraud.
  4. Bad stitching is also a fast way to tell a fake Ralph Lauren polo from a real one. The real polos have neat stitching in straight lines. Fakes will have uneven stitching and loose threading.
  5. If the logo looks as if it were sewed on poorly, watch out. If it has stitching falling lose from it, it's probably a counterfeit polo.
  6. The tag on the back inside of the shirt should also be embroidered, not just painted on. Fakes will not have the logo stitched into the tag, like real ones have.
  7. If tags are not present in the back of the shirt, the polo is a fake. All Ralph Lauren polos sport a stitched-on tag at the back of the shirt. A lot of fake polos won't add tags at all, and this makes it easy to spot a fake.

Little Dog Clothes

Did you now you can turn a large sock for your little dog?All you need is an oversize sock to whip up an adorable sweater for a tiny dog.

To complete this How-To you will need:

A large clean sock
Scissors

Step 1: Put on his hat

Take the toe piece and put it on his head, pulling his ears through the slits.

Step 2: Go for a walk

Take him for a walk so he can show off his spiffy new outfit.

Step 3: Remove the top

Cut off the top of the sock, the part with the elastic, and discard.

Step 4: Cut a slit

Lay the sock on a flat surface so that it's in the shape of a "J." Fold the heel over and make a one-inch cut through both layers. Unfold and enlarge the slits if necessary so your dog's legs will fit through.

Tip: Roll down the top of the sock to make a turtleneck.

Step 5: Cut the toe

Cut off the toe of the sock, just past the seam. Fold the open edge over about an inch and make a small slit through both layers. Unfold and enlarge the slits if necessary to fit over your dog's ears.

Step 6: Dress your dog

Slide the sock over your dog's body so that the top of the sock is around his neck. Pull his two front legs through the slits you cut in the heel of the sock.
