How To Spot Fake Adidas
- Look at the back of a pair of Adidas shoes and check for a heel tag. It is common for fake Adidas shoes to have a tiny triangular bit of material where the upper leather meets the second layer of leather on the heel of the shoe. Real Adidas shoes are perfectly constructed with great attention to detail, making it easy to spot a fake this way.
- Check out the packaging on the extra laces that come with a new pair of Adidas shoes. Extra laces should be rolled tightly and sealed in plastic. Knock-off Adidas shoes will have laces that are packed loosely in plastic.
- Look for the serial numbers. All real Adidas products have serial numbers on the tags attached to the item. Shoes will have a tag with the size and product information on the inside of the shoe, behind the tongue. Real authentic Adidas shoes will have a different serial number for the left and the right shoes. If the numbers match, the shoes are fake Adidas.
- Always inspect the product's stitching. Authentic Adidas items will have tight stitching that is evenly spaced. Knock-off Adidas gear may have loose stitch work or stitches sewn in an uneven pattern. Shoddy stitching makes it easy to spot fake Adidas gear.
- Learn how much a real Adidas item is worth. You can check the Adidas website for the prices of the current season's products as well as other Adidas items. If you come across a "great deal" online or on the street, chances are it's too good to be true. Do your research before shelling out any money to avoid getting ripped off.

How To Tell Fake Polo Ralph Lauren
- If the Ralph Lauren polo is priced very low, be wary. We have come across a ton of fake Ralph Lauren polos being sold online on auction sites. If the price is too good to be true, then most likely it is. If you want the real deal, you will have to pay the real price. Getting it for less may seem great, up until you actually receive your polo and realize how obviously fake it is.
- To be extra cautious, only buy from reputable sources. Use the company website in particular, or you can head to an actual, reputable storefront that you can walk into.
- Check the quality of the polo. Make sure it feels high-quality. Many fake Ralph Lauren polos are obviously fake, even to those who miss small details. The material of a fake Ralph Lauren polo will feel cheap and stiff, and colors that look faded are also a fast and easy indicator that the polo is a fraud.
- Bad stitching is also a fast way to tell a fake Ralph Lauren polo from a real one. The real polos have neat stitching in straight lines. Fakes will have uneven stitching and loose threading.
- If the logo looks as if it were sewed on poorly, watch out. If it has stitching falling lose from it, it's probably a counterfeit polo.
- The tag on the back inside of the shirt should also be embroidered, not just painted on. Fakes will not have the logo stitched into the tag, like real ones have.
- If tags are not present in the back of the shirt, the polo is a fake. All Ralph Lauren polos sport a stitched-on tag at the back of the shirt. A lot of fake polos won't add tags at all, and this makes it easy to spot a fake.

Little Dog Clothes
Did you now you can turn a large sock for your little dog?All you need is an oversize sock to whip up an adorable sweater for a tiny dog.
To complete this How-To you will need:
A large clean sock
Scissors
Step 1: Put on his hat
Take the toe piece and put it on his head, pulling his ears through the slits.
Step 2: Go for a walk
Take him for a walk so he can show off his spiffy new outfit.
Step 3: Remove the top
Cut off the top of the sock, the part with the elastic, and discard.
Step 4: Cut a slit
Lay the sock on a flat surface so that it's in the shape of a "J." Fold the heel over and make a one-inch cut through both layers. Unfold and enlarge the slits if necessary so your dog's legs will fit through.
Tip: Roll down the top of the sock to make a turtleneck.
Step 5: Cut the toe
Cut off the toe of the sock, just past the seam. Fold the open edge over about an inch and make a small slit through both layers. Unfold and enlarge the slits if necessary to fit over your dog's ears.
Step 6: Dress your dog
Slide the sock over your dog's body so that the top of the sock is around his neck. Pull his two front legs through the slits you cut in the heel of the sock.

How to Keep Your Clothes Looking New
To complete this How-To you will need:
A washing machine and a dryer
Liquid detergent
A towel
Detergent for dark clothes
Color remover
A clothesline
Clothespins
Oxygen bleach
Step 1: Hand-wash delicate knits
Laundering cashmere or wool knits in the washing machine, even on the delicate cycle, can cause them to run and unravel. Instead, hand-wash them in the sink or a bowl with liquid detergent. Squeeze suds through the fabric instead of rubbing, and rinse thoroughly.
Step 2: Dry knits
Wringing knits weakens the fabric; instead, gently squeeze the water out. Then, lay the item flat on top of a towel, roll it up inside the towel, and press to remove more water. Unroll it, and spread it on a flat surface to dry.
Step 3: Separate colors from whites
Separate color fabrics from all-white clothes before washing. In the colors pile, separate colors by intensity. Wash brights, which are more likely to bleed, pastels, and dark colors in separate loads.
Tip: If colors run, wash the stained clothes again while they're still wet, and the dye should wash out.
Step 4: Wash darks in cold
Machine-wash darks in cold water on the shortest cycle, using liquid detergent specially formulated for dark and black clothing. It will keep dyes in dark fabrics from washing out and fading.
Tip: Turn colored clothes inside-out before washing them to preserve their hue.
Step 5: Tackle the whites
Wash all of your whites in hot water, unless the label specifies another water temperature. If you notice your whites becoming dull after a few washes, add color remover to the wash, which you can buy at the supermarket or online.
Tip: You can also try oxygen bleach. Chlorine bleach can leave a yellow tinge on whites, especially if you wash in hot water.
Step 6: Line-dry
No matter what color they are, line-dry clothes whenever possible, avoiding direct sunlight. Fold clothes in half over the line and secure with clothespins. If you use the dryer, choose the lowest temperature setting for the material. High heat shrinks and warps fabrics.
Step 7: Put clothes away the right way
Some clothes, like those made from linen or cotton, stay wrinkle-free if they're hung up, while knits retain their shape better if you fold them. Fold long dresses, too, since hanging tends to stretch them out

Nike's stock price falls nearly 10 percent in early morning trading
UPDATED 1:55 p.m. Beaverton-area sportswear giant Nike (NYSE: NKE) saw its stock price tumble nearly 10 percent this morning after quarterly earnings missed analysts' expectations and the company's struggles with costs spooked investors.
The stock of Oregon's largest publicly traded company hovered around $77 all morning on the New York Stock Exchange, a drop of more than $8, or 9.5 percent, since its close Thursday at $85.41. UPDATE: It closed today at $77.59, down $7.82, or 9 percent.
As The Oregonian reported yesterday, the company announced a 7 percent increase in profit, to $523 million, or $1.08 a diluted share, during its fiscal third quarter. But 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting $1.11 a share in the three-month period ended Feb. 28.
Revenue of $5.1 billion was up 7 percent over the previous year. But Nike doesn't miss analyst expectations often. Bloomberg said it was the company's first miss in 19 quarters.
The company also warned yet again that it's struggling to contain higher labor, cotton and transportation costs. The company said it planned significant price increases across a wide range of shoes and clothing styles, according to MarketWatch.
According to said The Wall Street Journal, Nike's sales in Japan in the latest quarter were down 16%, excluding currency changes, even before last week's earthquake and tsunami. All of its employees there were accounted for and safe, the company said.
