The Kobe Collection

The Nike Sportswear KOBE Collection is the result of a collaboration with one of the greatest sporting icons of the 21st century, depicting the experiences and inspirations- on the court and off- that have helped make Kobe Bryant who he is today. A basketball legend, yes, but one who is self-aware and inspired by pioneers of sport and culture who challenged the status quo to make things better.

The collection features redefined athletic-apparel classics like the varsity-inspired Destroyer Jacket, the N98 Track Jacket and the AW77 Hoodie, which tell Kobe’s story through badges and embroidery that break his name down into powerful words and symbols: To Know is reflected in the black spade harking back to his high-school sports logo and early history. To Originate, represented by an open book, reflects culture, To Battle is visible in the reinterpreted Italian soccer-champs badge in Pan-African flag colors, reflecting his love for “the beautiful game.” And to Elevate takes the form of a laurel representing time spent honing his craft as a youngster in Italy.
